Wow, the day has finally come to let all of our friends, family, and community know about what our team at Aspen Care have been working on for the last couple of months! Before we get into the nitty gritty of the business, we first want to acknowledge and thank all of our staff for their hard work during this time. We have been extremely careful and diligent with our care practices and staff, and continue to keep our clients safe and healthy. 

Back to Business: Aspen Care has been anticipating this day for months, and we couldn't be more excited!

My Health Journals was born from a passion to see our clients live with dignity! Each nurse who works for Aspen Care tracks our clients health frequently throughout the day. The tool we use to track our clients health is a custom made binder tailored towards each client, created by our team of Licensed Practical Nurses. We’ve had so much positive feedback about this tool, our processes, and systems at Aspen Care, that we decided to copyright the “binder” and convert it into what is now known as My Health Journal. 

For everyday users, we modified some of the lingo, and made the journal more user-friendly. We designed the journal with the individual in mind, ensuring there were enough note pages, explanations, and examples on how to monitor your health throughout! We believe that these Health Journals are the perfect tool to monitor health transactions, appointments, doctor feedback, health records, health history, and health tracking. With over 20 chapters, and over 300 pages, this journal can help you through any health journey. 

Each new client at Aspen Care will receive a Health Journal, and receive the same standard of exemplary care we strive to give. The great thing now is that we are offering these Health Journals to the public for sale via our online website. Shipping and production may be a few weeks out, so you can expect slight delays due to the COVID19 situation. Nevertheless, My Health Journals is now open for business! We will be offering the My Health Journals to third party retailers at wholesale pricing. I’ve had a lifelong passion for helping others through their health care crisis which led me to create My Health Journals. As a Canadian, I’ve served the community for over 30 years and have developed a vast understanding of the local healthcare system. Working as both a Health Care Aide, and a Licensed Practical Nurse, I have developed the medical, technical, administrative and emotional understanding of critical situations.

My goal with the health care journal is to let patients take ownership of their health. We put together this tool to help patients remain autonomous, safe, comfortable and independent for as long as possible – wherever they live – in their homes, retirement communities or care facilities. I want to see people live healthy and with dignity.
